Is It Really Real?

My boobies are hurting a bit more today and I started having some sharp/stabbing pains on the sides of my lower abdomen. I hear it's normal because as the baby is growing everyday, my uterus is stretching and thats what is causing the pain more than likely.

I'm also still taking the Progesterone suppositories. I started them on Saturday October 9th after the IUI. The Dr wants me to keep doing them until the ultrasound at least, I think they said they are going to check my progesterone level and make sure it is high enough. I'll be 7 weeks then but I did hear that they may keep me doing them until I am 10 weeks at least. I'll do what I have to for this baby, my little miracle.

The Confirmed Results

The results are in!!! It's official, we're pregnant!! hehehe

I Went this morning at 7:30am again to have another hCG blood test. Dr's office called with results this afternoon about 1:30pm and the numbers were 412... more than doubled!! I'm Still very tired but very happy and excited... it doesnt feel like it's real yet, but I'm sure it will soon.

We are one month along and we go November 12th at 10am for our frist Ultrasound (We'll be 7 weeks then) and get to see baby and see the heartbeat. I cant wait!!!

When We Found Out

I Went for blood test at 730am and didnt hear the news until 6pm. Dr Horvath called when I went to pick up my hubby, Jon from work and left the results of the hCG Quauntitative blood test on the answering machine. I actually was waiting to hear the negative results as usual so I told Jon to go check the messages because I didnt think I could bare hearing "it's negative" again. Well it was taking Jon a while in there listening to the messages so I walked down the hallway and as I got to our bedroom I heard "positive." I looked at Jon with "Deer in the headlights" eyes and said "WHAT?!?!?!?!" He just smiled big and said "Yes!" I was so excited I jumped up and down and hugged him and started crying and the feeling was so amazing and so overwhelming. Just the fact that we had a postive result after all the negatives.

The total count was 186. They want to see it go up by 2/3's or at least 1/2 in 48 hours to make sure the baby is growing. So I have to go back Monday and see how the numbers are rising!

I realized that since Monday Oct 18th I had felt extremely tired and just thought I my body was trying to catch up from long hours the week before. I also noticed I got heartburn at least once a day for no reason beginning on Thursday Oct 21st.
