Just a Short Update (32 weeks)

We had a Dr appointment today and everything is still pretty much the same. I guess you could call this the boring part of the pregnancy as far as prenatal visits go anyway. Baby's heartrate was in the 140's and got up into the 150's while we were listening. She must have been playing around in there! :) My weight is still the same as it was last week... so since the very beginning of all this, I have only gained 7 pounds which is ALL baby (and baby stuff)!! Really I have been losing weight while she gains and thats a great thing! :) My blood pressure was 138/80, not terrible but not great either. Although it's been just about there the whole time anyway so it's nothing to worry about. If it goes up anymore... then we worry I suppose.

As for me and how I'm feeling... still the same... my hip bones and entire pelvic bone are aching and hurting so bad. It really feels like I could break in half at the hips! Still the same old thing... morning sickness and heartburn and headaches. Fun fun!

I did ask the Dr what comes next for me in my pregnancy. She told me that at about 36 weeks or so they will do a Group B test... it is a vaginal culture to make sure there is no Strep or other bacteria in the canal where the baby is going to come through. She said when they do that then we will start seeing the Dr every week. They may do another ultrasound later to see what position baby is in and to check her out but they may not. She said after the 36 week or so appointment it's basically waiting around until she decides she wants to join the world. The Dr said they may check my cervix a couple times during those few weeks to see how things are progressing.

Jon and I talked about when I would go out from work this past weekend. I told him I would like to try to make it full time until the end of May and then work 3 weeks in June part time. Of course all of this depends on when baby decides to come, but I figure if I can make it that long that would be the plan. Then sit back the last week of June and wait for her.

Thats it though... we're basically in the home stretch!
