Squish, Squash - Squish, Squash
I know the title sounds funny right? Well when I went to the Dr this morning and heard the baby's heartbeat, thats what it sounded like. I did record it and I will be adding it to the files where I keep the baby's pics. It's not a very loud heartbeat like you hear on tv, it's a very faint little "squish, squash" sounding noise in the middle of some other noise lol You kinda have to listen for it. If you can't hear it, sorry, you'll have to wait til next time. The baby is still tiny and the heartbeat isn't exactly the easiest thing to hear through a fat chicks stomach. :) It was so great to hear my little one's heart... I would have been more excited about it if Jon was there to enjoy it with me... but still it was amazing to hear. It still doesnt feel all that "REAL" yet. I'm sure, in a couple weeks, when I can really feel the baby it will feel more real. When Jon can feel it that will help too. I did feel baby again last night which is so neat... but difficult because I cant share with Jon yet! Very frustrating!
Ok so we have another appointment in 4 weeks (January 31st). We're going to have an ultrasound and since we will be about 19 weeks then, hopefully we will be able to see the baby's gender! It will definitely be far enough along to tell, I just hope the little booger cooperates! I miss the baby... I know thats weird, but when I see it next it's going to be so big! I mean compared to last time we saw it. It looked like such a real little human at 10 weeks... I can't imagine what it will be like at 19! It's going to be HUGE! lol
Well so far today I have heartburn... I did get a little morning sickness at the Dr this morning but nothing major and I got it under control and was fine the rest of the appointment. I did officially lose weight now even since I saw the ob Dr a month ago! :) I think it's great! I was so worried I was going to gain like 100 pounds or something and so far I have lost about 10 since I got pregnant! Now though, I should start gaining baby weight!
